Earlsdon's young Second XV put in a fine display to beat an experienced Keresley 1st team in last nights Cov Benevonent Cup Semi Final game here at Mitchell Ave. Keresley used their bigger players to good advantage but the young Earlsdon players put their bodies on the line to put show some fine defensive performances. The youngest player on the pitch received the Man of the Match award with two tries and four conversions. 17 year old Full Back Taylor Maher, certainly has a bright future ahead of him.

Earlsdon will play Old Coventrians RFC 2s in the final played at The Butts on Friday 9th May, 7.30pm kick off.

Earlsdon 38 - 33 Keresley

Tries; Maher - 2, Plimbley, Hayward, Collins - 2.

Conversions, Maher - 4.
