It was with much sadness that we learned of the passing of our dear friend and colleague David Evans who passed away in hospital following a fall at his home. Dave leaves behind his loving wife Jen and his three sons, Mark, Scott and Lee. We at Earlsdon extend our condolences to his grieving family at this sad time.

Dave had served as a committee member and player at Earlsdon RFC for many years and was a leading light in running the bar, planning and organising the very successful Earlsdon RFC Annual Sevens competitions and organising Discos for the younger members in the old clubhouse in Kirby Corner Road. Although recent ill health had kept him away from the club he is remembered fondly and will hold a special place in our hearts.
