Welcome back to all our Players, Members and our Supporters, hope you all had a great Xmas and a Happy New Year. The clubhouse has been a little quiet recently apart from the New Years Annual Quiz which was held last Saturday where over 18 teams fought it out to be the 2026 champions, Scrum Half Dan Davies and family won the First Prize and the Play Your Cards Right.

This Saturday, Jan 10th, we welcome Ledbury RFC to our Mitchell Ave headquarters for a Counties 1 league game. Kick off will be 2.15pm. After a good rest the lads will be eager to get back on the pitch and hopefully back to winning ways.

The Second XV are at home to Old Covents 2s on Friday night in a Warks Merit League game. Kick off 7.30pm. This will all depend on the weather, so watch this space. The poster stating that the 2s are playing Ledbury 2s are incorrect but we have not had the time to change it.

Prior to the First XV match, the club are holding a January Blues pre match meal in the clubhouse. There will be approx 60 people sitting down for a warm lunch and a couple of glasses of wine before heading out in the cold to cheer the lads on. We have a nice barrel of Butty Bach hand pull available and European Rugby will be shown live on our two large TV screens over the course of the day.

So let's start the new year by cheering the lads on and applauding the Ref and our opponents.
